Our Alliance Team Jiu Jitsu Gi is defiantly our favorite and is without doubt the best GI out there!
Now that we got the best out of the way lets go over the Jiu Jitsu GI. :)
Having a GI for our Brazilin Jiu Jitsu Class is highly recommended and picking the right one for a beginner can be a whole research job in itself.
So below is the BJJ Gi breakdown from colors, sizing, and pricing.
BJJ GI Colors
(BJJ) Short for Brazilin Jiu Jitsu Gi’s come in a variety of colors but the most common are White, Blue and Black. For your First Gi you can start out with one of these colors or find your favorite color but the price seems to increase with different colors than white, blue and black.
So it’s up to you on any color you want.
Brazilan Jiu Jitsu GI Sizing
Jiu Jitsu GI’s have there own sizing categories that are unlike any other. So we will explain the sizing charts.
If you found a Gi you like please double check that manufactures sizing chart to make sure it fits. Sizing varies with each manufacture.
Below is the standard sizing for men woman and kids.

Fuji GI sizing for Kids, Men and woman

In the Kids Jiu Jitsu Kids the '“C” stands for Child and ranges from C00 to C3

As you can see the woman’s sizes start with a “W” and ranges from 00 to 6. The WC is for Women’s Child and ranges from WC00 to WC3

The Men’s Gi starts with a “A” and stands for adult and is sometimes unisex for men and woman depending on manufacture and Gi. This GI ranges from A0 to A6. A0 being the smallest
The Alliance Jiu Jitsu Gi Sizing charts

When purchasing an alliance Jiu Jitsu Gi The sizing is unisex and starts with a “A” for Adult and ranges from A00 to A5. A00 being the smallest. The ending “L” and “H” in the sizing chart stand for L = Long and H = Heavy.

With this size chart for the adult gi it varies and make sure you check on the Gi you want sizing

With the Alliance Jiu Jitsu Gi the letter starts with a “M” for minors and ranges from M000 to M4. Note Kids Gi’s usually come with a white belt and adults don’t.
As you can see manufactures sizing varies and you will have to see each chart for the GI of your choice.

With adults are usually sold separately & with Kids are usually included with the purchase and sizing will most likely be the same size as your GI unless the belt you want is a different manufacture then check their sizing chart

Jiu Jitsu Gi Pricing
Pricing will vary for every different Jiu Jitsu Gi from $60 to $200 depending on the manufacture, quality and size.
When purchasing a Gi try to plan ahead to save money. If you plan on Competing in competition and joining our Alliance Jiu Jitsu Team, a Team Gi is required to compete.
The team Gi is one of the best on the market and is made with the highest quality for $179 for Adults as seen below with sizing.
This Gi can be worn by Evolution MMA / Alliance BJJ team members and non team members
No Gi Jiu Jitsu class
No Gi Jiu Jitsu class appreal.
After you purchase a GI you are ready to start training Jiu Jitsu!
A Gi is recommended but not required for Evolution MMA Jiu Jitsu classes
We have Gi and No Gi classes available so if you would like to try Jiu Jitsu before you buy a GI Just show up to one of our BJJ classes and wear anything your comfortable working out in.

Jason is the head coach and a 3rd degree black belt and professor in Brazilin Jiu Jitsu. Jason is the main strategist and specializes at finding and fixing weak spots in his student's games. He strongly believes that drilling your techniques is the biggest key to success (hint hint) and makes sure the gym is open at least an hour before jiu-jitsu classes to give his students a space to drill.
